If I hadn't grown up in stability and education, instead had the struggles on policing, fractured communities, etc. The probability of my current relative success would be less.

It does. I grew up a 2nd generation immigrant of 2 hyper educated and middle classe poc. I thought the reason black and Hispanic ppl weren't succeeding was bc they didn't try enough.
I had to unlearn this and learn more about systemic injustice.

I feel like I'm in constant fear of humanity. I'm a person of color, and many of my friends are. It's only a matter of time before several of our countries either become ecological inhabitable or war torn.
