Just wanted to write my first and possibly only post, just to prove I'm not a bot. Really enjoying Bluesky and the vibe, just hoping that it continues to grow. I apologise to everyone here for not really being into posting or replying to stuff, but I do go a bit nuts with the like button.
Predator Badlands was awesome. Anyone complaining about the rating is wrong and really needs to see it to put that crap to bed. The IP is doing so well in Dan's hands and hopefully he doesn't put it down any time soon.

Always a sad day when your controller starts to pack it in. Worse when it was an expensive custom controller your family all pitched in for as a Birthday and Christmas present. Just gotta stop getting nice controllers when my kids are still young. My youngest is in the 'ooo, gravity' stage.

Every year we decorate for Halloween at the last minute and use the same decorations. Every year I turn to my partner and say "Next year we'll decorate earlier and replace these crappy broken decorations." One of these years we'll remember... hopefully next year.

Honestly am sad to see Doctor Who leave Disney+. I personally don't care where it airs but my kids only watched it on Disney+, my eldest even rewatched multiple times. Tried to get them into older seasons but they just didn't enjoy it. Looks like its back to watching alone.

Watched Chad Powers and loved it. Thought it was hilarious and enjoyed the performances and the story. Can't wait for the next episode.

Always hate when I decide to risk it and watch a new show, love it and jump online to see 90% negativity. Whelp, I'll finish it and watch a cliffhanger season finale and wait for the inevitable cancellation... yet hold a little bit of hope that viewership is good enough to get another season.

My daughter wants a PC. She's going to use her money to buy parts when she can and I'll be helping her pick the best cheap parts. She was so disappointed after saying she wants the best graphics and I showed her the prices. She wants to become a game dev, so she'll be using it to learn coding.

I'm not afraid to say it: I still love The Simpsons. I've watched every episode multiple times and there is only a couple of episodes I don't enjoy and a few Treehouse segments are really bad. I honestly think it's a shame that people miss some truly amazing episodes because they gave up on it.

Wife made me a spice cake. I LOOOOVE SPICE CAKE! Time for a Mocha and a slice of cake. Life ain't all bad.

Alien Earth is phenomenal. Watched the first two episodes in a near-constant state of tension. Unfortunately, the cat scene was a deal breaker for my family, so they won't be watching.

Popped on Facebook for a sec and saw my father-in-law posted some bullshit about the Covid vaccine killing people. Checked the comments and WOW! Thought there would be some sane people... there was 2. How the fuck are there so many people basically wishing death on people just to be proven right?

Finally getting back into Grounded. Never wanted to put it down but back in 2023, while I was recovery from surgery, I got the itch to play a comfort game so I binged the Assassins Creed series. Missed being shrunk. Now starting fresh and I'm glad to be back. Also can't wait for the sequel to drop.

Loved #FantasticFour, it was gorgeous, awesome and had a lot of heart. I laughed, I was pumped, and I even cried a little. My daughter she laughed, screamed and talked a lot to mask her sadness. She loved Herbie and I honestly loved Reed. Thunderbolts ranks higher but only slightly.

Turns out the excitement and anxiety were all for naught. Kinda forgot we have 2 young kids who can't come to the cinema and no one to watch them. So, Fantastic Four movie night is unfortunately cancelled and will be replaced with a crappy cam watch... now the depression kicks in.

Decided to go to the movies for the first time since Star Wars TFA. I'm just so excited for The Fantastic Four and don't wanna get some cam just to avoid spoilers. My anxiety is a little freaked and unsure how I'll handle my agoraphobia but my wife and eldest will be there to help.

Enjoyed the Xbox Showcase but not a lot of games for me, my kids will probably enjoy a lot more of them. Clockwork Revolution though, that game got me so excited, literally can't wait for that. Grounded 2 also surprised the hell of me, can't wait for that either. Keeper also looks surprisingly good.

Great night hanging with my cousin that ended on a shit note once he brought up Elon saving trillions of dollars for the country. That started a whole back and forth, before I realised that he was getting off on how frustrated I was getting.

Nothing ruins your little anger, confident walk then slipping on your kid's pee. Also, great reminder that you're not young anymore because your body's like 'What the hell were those gymnastics? Go sit down, no more walking for you.'

So sad hearing of the deaths of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa. Fave movies of his are Enemy of the State, The Replacements and Heartbreakers. Crimson Tide is my all-time fave though, it's 10/10 and the only movie that triggers a panic attack every time I watch it... unsure why though.

Pretty embarrassing when you accidently stab yourself in the nose. Worse when your kids have used all the Band-Aids and your stuck with giant ones that don't work great on your nose. Thankfully, it shouldn't require a hospital visit.

Kinda sucks listening to my mum spew racist stuff she's heard from the news. I get her so much stuff that proves the news isn't giving all the information but apparently if the news doesn't say it then all the statistics from experts must be wrong. Atleast she avoids the totally worse news, for now.

Really enjoyed the Xbox Direct. Have to say South of Midnight was my favourite. Expedition 33 was something I was really looking forward too but the world map traversal looked weird, I'm still buying day 1 though. Doom and Ninja Gaiden look awesome but aren't my type of games.

Always hate those times when you feel like the odd one out. My mum treats me like I'm part of a very small minority because I love to talk movies, TV and games but she also won't talk to me about more serious world issues. My wife, we watch a lot of the same shows, but she hates discussing them. 1/4
