If you have an enemy on the screen, they are a threat got a good chunk of time. Enemies are NG2 level aggressive here.

It's a good thing Ranged Skills are good for knocking down multiple enemies.
I've used Bomb -> Lantern a LOT, and the Shock Parry being stupid makes sense in context

On one hand:

Tanky enemies make fights take longer, which could risk being sloggy.
And Magenta Horizon does suffer from a fight not ending bc 1 fodder enemy keeps avoiding you right at the end.

On tbe other:

Enemies being tanky makes their attacks, numbers & compositions more threatening.
