I’ve seen from a couple who were remote workers who do not live near an in-person site. And did not want to relocate their families just to be RIFd later. Those two reasons are going to make up the majority I suspect.

To be honest they probably are not sharing on purpose, to keep their internal communications secure.

When I redid it, I was able to do a mass deletion and then just import a fresh copy from Goodreads. Otherwise I never would have. Haha

Depending on when you did it, it may be better now if you try again. I tried it when StoryGraph was still very new and it didn’t move a LOT over. ~1-2 years ago the only things that didn’t work perfectly were rereads.

Do people EXPECT you to? Like… I have a federal job. I won’t just stop going to work, I gotta FEED MY FAMILY. feed your family. The rest of us can put a dent in meta’s monopoly in the meantime.
