what i DO miss is having a settled place to call home (like Astera/Seliana) but i hope maybe that's a future title update?? i just really want a room (not just my cute lil tent) where i can decorate and show off all my critters. i also miss the palico canteen :(

learning the new quirks of the systems (inventory, farming, etc) took some time, but overall i think they did a really good job of streamlining/simplifying some of those processes and i really enjoy them now! the forging/upgrading/wishlist QOLs are game changing.

i main bow/glaive like i did in MHW and they both feel as good in this game, if not better in some ways. i feel like a more active participant in the fight on bow and the new moves for glaive (wounds and offset) are CLEAN and super satisfying.
