excedrin* + one of these** while lying down for a bit.
*which is just tylenol + aspirin + caffeine, but they work better together
**I think these mostly distract you from the pain while the meds do their thing, but I find that very helpful. tiger balm on the temples also works, but is more intense

I mean, I certainly agree that the Yankees would still have made the playoffs if the best RH hitter of all time was their DH instead of their RF.

Judge beat Raleigh in both versions of WAR, which accounts for defense. The gap in fWAR, which includes catcher framing, was large enough that Raleigh would have had to have been the best defender in the league to overcome it.

the thing is, I think AI boosters actually see the underpants gnome aspect as central to their argument. their whole thing is that AI/AGI will make advances that humans literally can’t make on our own. in their mind, the fact that we can’t fill in the “???” in step 2 is *the reason we need AI*

you know, it’s striking to me that Dr. Oz is so quick to swoop in and help the guy. that he still has that Dr’s reflex to help someone in need.
