Im in their peer group. This isn’t purely anecdotal. I’ve seen my classmates that did graduate high school with me, decide to say fuck everything and bum off some girl. Im talking brilliant artists who had many scholarships say nahhh

For my school we had certain standards or we would get kicked out. The overwhelming majority of guys in my school went to class. My brother went to the same school about a half decade later. These boys aren’t the same. I was shocked. My experiences are very much so anomalies but its so disheartening

Like my brother is still in undergrad at an HBCU and we’ve talked about this. We talked about this article yesterday and he agreed that at his time in uni, he’s seen fewer new guys in the freshmen classes. He also said his classmates stopped coming to high school post covid lockdowns.
