Maybe start by getting your own party to stop funding this. Ice needs to be abolished, not just leave your state where they will impose terror on someone else.

They will not leave until you force them to- let your actions speak louder than your words. The private citizens of your state are carrying the burden of defending their state.

Agreed to some extent, though the frustration is not just with one decision but with a general tone of passivity. Schumer doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and to some extent all of the members bear some responsibility if only with enabling such inept leadership.

With all due respect Senator (truly, I appreciate you as my representative), whether you actually voted for it or not (and grateful you did not), every single Dem now carries the stench of this terrible CR. Dems allowed it to happen and now concede any moral high ground argument about it.
