“You’re really burning up.” As suspected, Falin had the flu. Sometime between lunch and dinner, a fever had caught up to her—and it was a pretty bad one, judging by how pitiful she looked: swaddled up in bed and mumbling about all sorts of whimsical and endearing things. "And you're... really pretty?" Case in point. Marcille tried not to blush because now was not the time for any of her might-possibly-be-in-love-with Falin nonsense, not when she was feeling so ill. She focused on the cooling bowl of soup on Falin's nightstand, hoping for an improvement in her appetite. Falin, who ever since the dungeon was insatiable, looked small and didn't want to eat, and it made tendrils of worry grow around her chest. "Gods. You really are sick this time. You'll have to stay in bed, at least for the next few days."
