All of these lives that unfolded in the decades and generations before us to give way to our today. If any of them had made one slightly different decision at any point in their lives, me and my children wouldn't be here today. It's mind boggling.

I spent some time researching and found her! She married a Jack Kendall Harrison in Grimsby and died in 2005. I hoped to locate some children to reunite the family tree branches but my trail ran cold here.

Here's William's wife - my great grandmother, Florence Mary James (later Parsons as she was widowed young) - and also them in a pub called the Prospect Inn in Kent that they ran together after the war ended and where my grandad spent his early years.

Here's his father, my great grandfather, William J. James. A Squadron Leader in the RAF who was stationed in Picton, Ontario during WW2 and an antique RAF clock passed down from him.

I've become a little obsessed with learning about my family history since my grandad passed away. Especially since obtaining photos/items related to family history. Here he is in his rugby kit at his Grammar school in Newbury and also him with Charlton Heston

I had a little getaway last weekend to Padstow for my friend's Hen do. We were blessed with beautiful weather. Really filled my cup!
