All my work in progress paintings from the last 5 months 🙌 I haven’t painted traditionally for five years before this so it’s nice to know I got better ☺️

New #illustration sketch based on the discourse from last year where most women would rather face a bear than a man in the forest.

I’ve been in a bit of a rut with where I want to go with my freelance work with the state of everything so trying to focus on personal work 🤞

So I was having a lil crisis and blurred all of my #illustration work and then swirled it and look at this color palette?? Honestly I would love to see what other illustrators swirl looks like!

As this particular #WomensHistoryMonth is extra important this year, I thought I would share some portraits I did long before Bluesky, here is my painting of Emily Dickinson.

“Not knowing when dawn will come, I open every door.”

As this particular #WomensHistoryMonth is extra important this year, I thought I would share some from my portrait series I did long before Bluesky, starting with Maya Angelou.

“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.”

Put some finishing details on this redraw 🌊 I like both the new and old version for different reasons, which do you like more? #fantasypainting

I tried cropping in on a piece I did a few months ago and I think it’s better this way? One of my recent favorites in my brush quality for sure 🥀

You know the political state isn’t good when the stressful dystopian sci-fi titles seem fun to draw! And somehow got approval with the vertical type I’ll take any small wins at this point

If you see this, quote with your Night/Dark art!

I have so many dark #art pieces but this is one of my favorites 🖤

Workin away! I think the iPhone has a personal vendetta against showing accurate colors, I would let it slide if we were back in 2013 but alas here we are and yellows cease to exist!

Just finalized the redesigned package of the short story collection, Lotería. It was so fun to give this book a new life (or the absence of life I should say) it’s a real spooky one!

Happy MLK Day. I hope this adds positivity to ur feed :)

Last fall the Southern Poverty Law Center reached out to me to create a portrait of Ketanji Brown Jackson for their 2025 Donor Calendar.

It was an honor to work with the SPLW which has been at the forefront of the civil rights movement.

Before this I didn’t paint on a physical canvas for a few years but wanted to get back into painting last fall. I was unsure of how it would go, but I was presently suprised on how much my digital painting transferred over :) more to come!
