My week since I got home has consisted of a lot of this.

I’m going away on a business trip to do some training for a brand new sister location. Its a complicated system and really my job is loaning me and this is a first time for this kind of collab. I may have over prepared my training materials . . .

I journal when I need to vent or work things out.

In recent years that has included not just words but doodles and this is definitely a reflection of my current mood
A two page spread in a journal the left side ink circles coming out in concentric rings as if many small peoples were dropped in the water the word fear printed across the page. The right page is also concentric circles but these ones overlap and look more like the tops of wild flowers growing over each other intersecting instead of disturbing. The word growth is almost hidden in cursive on the circles

My cat Mayday keeps me in my place with strategically placed paws.

I’m going away for a business trip for 2.5 weeks and I’m going to miss this little bean.

I wanted to be productive tonight I tried to paint to doodle or journal every activity was interrupted by the most engage kitty behaviour and then followed up by cuddles.
