Yes we have so much snow!! We’re getting more tonight too. Thankfully I live next to the school and it’s a private preschool so my boss was able to leave and grab me, so grateful 😭

Teaching^ it’s very simple. It’s not main character, it’s about how the children see us. Me personally, I want my students to know that I will save them to the best that I can and them knowing that will allow them to be far more comfortable with me and my classroom. Idk it’s basic teacher principle

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I would highly encourage re thinking that because we as teachers have so much more impact on children and it can really take one teacher to be a hero by just simply caring. Maybe you’re thinking of a hero as something more exaggerated but in terms of reaching

Hmmm maybe cuz you haven’t been in a situation where a teacher is a hero. I have taught at a few underprivileged schools and was often times one of the students who would rather be at school than home. It’s a little offensive to those of us who don’t have that privilege of non teacher heros.
