Agree that's a pointless battle. They're all assholes. This week, the big boycott is against Home Depot, Target, & Amazon. Who here remembers the olden days when you could find an independently owned hardware store? Wouldn't that be cool?

I think they should continuously try to do it if for no other reason than to show it's what the people want. Without a majority in Congress, it is not going to happen. Seems like it would be more effective to focus on regional, state, & local law.

As long as it's a fair tax system. Low income people can't afford more taxes. The school systems should not be funded by property taxes, either. And no more property tax increases.

If the State had the resources, it would be preferable to establish an internal emergency management agency. I don't know what the State has, but we need to focus locally.
