I appreciate so much what your son does. We were stuck on I40 in traffic when the fires swept through Gatlinburg, TN about 30 miles away. I was sick with respiratory issues for 3 weeks afterwards.

I was curious, too, and apparently it is in Scotland. I don't get the point of that picture in relationship to the subject of the story.

I grew up in KY when the 10 C were in the schools. I remember them distinctly in grade school but not after that. It would be interesting to see a poll of how many students remember seeing them and what impact, if any, they had.

My frustration was gathering what I felt was sufficient proof that AI had been used in an assignment I was grading despite my spidey sense assuring me it was. I calculated for every suspected AI assignment, I spent 1-1/4 hours trying to prove it to assign a 0. 1 assignment should not take 1-1/4 hrs

Right. Money does not equal good taste, but it's much easier to have good taste if you have money.

Well, thanks, but there's a lot of good people way ahead of me on here. I really have to think things through some times, but I do know the basics of how we should treat other people, which RFK failed at miserably in his press conference.

I have no clue what you are getting act, but of course I do. Did I say anywhere that I didn't? I said RFK was dismissive of the abilities of those with autism. And frankly, I am always honest so I don't need direction from you.

I teach at the college level. Some of my students have autism. I'm pretty sure they can do everything he says they cannot do and much more.

The blue dots in red states work extra hard to change people. These type of rants, even though we are all angry, do not help us. Rethink your strategy. We need the national Democratic party to send money for campaigns rather than assuming we will vote red. We need the candidates to show up here.

I guess it doesn't matter since it is cancelled, but was it smart to schedule this on the same day when many are going to protests?

Absolutely! Everyone paused at 3 pm Central time on my side of the state for the update. And he surrounded himself with other good people - Virginia doing sign language, and Dr. Stack explaining the medical side.

Kentucky is making some progress: worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankin... But one of our state legislators recently said we didn't need more degrees; we needed workers, but they set funding for the colleges/unis based on grad rates. Educators can't win no matter what we do.
