I do not get why people block others for definitively calling them out?
Like cool, you have a different perspective from me (maybe I was even wrong). Blocking seems like overkill

Sad to see framework go down the road that (arguably) @kagi.com has gone down.
Hard to compare apples to oranges but a socially conscious tech company trying to play both sides of a one-sided arguments is disappointing, to say the least.

Generally agree with this thread, though Bluesky is starting to work on privacy! I’m really excited for E2EE messaging based on matrix, and they have some great stuff on their roadmap! Would recommend looking at it!

The other nice thing about this is that yaml ~= json ~= toml ~= ???

so it’s not really tied to yaml syntax - it’s just tied to the data schema!
October 4, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Maybe the solution is sorta what GitLab/GitHub have done? DSL in yaml syntax?

I dunno what the ideal is but readability of nix to the average person is terrible - yaml is great, but yaml isn’t Turing complete. At a minimum I want imports.

Does @tangled.org have the package management built in yet?
September 24, 2025 at 2:02 AM
Yay another solution to the packaging problem.

For real tho it would be cool to see a competitor to nexus or GitLab built on atproto.

Hot take this is AI companies taking advantage of the SW Engineer’s urge to spend 4 hours to automate something that would take a few seconds to do manually
