Yesterday I walked 22000 steps on this beautiful island and breathed in tranquility. It was bliss to be here and see the drama of the mountains, the shimmering blue seas and the swans.

On Arran this lovely evening and looking out on the palm trees and view of the Holy Isle. It’s unbelievable and peaceful and right to be here for a few days.

Today we had a spectacular drive to Inverew Gardens and too
A 2 hour boat trip on Loch Ewe. I loved every minute and I love Scotland.

A gorgeous day in the highlands where we took a road trip from Inverness to Achiltibuie and back. The weather helped but the scenery was incredible. We are very lucky.

Spent a Christmassy afternoon today, courtesy of my daughter. We had coffee and cake at Inverness Cathedral and heard some beautiful carols played on harps by the Highland Branch of the Clarsach Society with both children and adults.
