I haven’t skeeted for quite awhile. Actually haven’t posted much on any of my social media accounts except for Snapchat this year. But I see a lot more activity on BlueSky lately so glad that I joined earlier. If you are new, welcome aboard, there are many great communities here.

Finally roasted my sunflower seeds. 🌱 From the sunflower heads I saved.

It’s been awhile since I posted today’s flowers. 🌱 Amazing how many flowers still out in the middle of October. A pink rose bud, a pink petunia and a bachelor button.

Finished harvesting the garden 🌱 today. Sunflowers and carrots. Sunflowers will be hung to dry for a few weeks before they are roasted. Carrots will be washed and tops cut off. Then will be stored in the fridge.

I grew so many cantaloupes this year that I was looking for different uses. First I tried making a juice, but I didn’t enjoy it.
Now I made a cantaloupe pie and it was delicious. 🌱

Update on my cubed watermelon. 🌱 The melon didn’t grow much after it was put in the mold but it did grow close to a cube. Easier to slice without it rolling on the table.

Picked my mini pumpkins the other day 🌱
Small dark orange Wee Be Little pumpkins. They can fit in the palm of your hand. 75 mini pumpkins. Various shades of orange in colour with some being striped.
