The state is launching a three-year pilot program offering $500 a month to homeless students who maintain high attendance and fulfill other requirements.

From Swing Left's political desk: The margin between Senator Casey and his opponent is roughly 0.5%, only several thousand votes, and the Pennsylvania Department of State announced there are approximately 100,000 ballots left to be counted. Many of these ballots are provisional ballots which are likely to break heavily for Senator Casey. In 2022, Philadelphia’s provisional ballots broke for Senator Fetterman by a margin of 91% to 8%. Multiple counties that Senator Casey won have announced they have a high number of provisional ballots that still must be counted: Philadelphia County has roughly 20,000 provisional ballots, Allegheny County has 12,680 provisional ballots, Montgomery County has 6,500 provisional ballots, Chester County has announced more than 3,500 provisional ballots, and Bucks County has announced roughly 5,200 provisional ballots. New York Times, NBC, CNN, CBS, and DecisionDesk all say this race is too close to call and have not projected a winner.
