That’s not to say there aren’t responsible parents out there. I know there are great parents. But some parents just refuse to be responsible and monitor what their kids do online, and it sucks, cause now we have this unsafe age verification shit.

Unfortunately the irresponsible parents gave the responsibility of protecting their children online to the government, who then gave it to online platforms in the form of the Online Safety Act, and what has that done? Protect kids at the expense of our personal information?

This also goes without saying, but you really shouldn’t fork over your ID or a selfie to companies that implement this as it’s a huge privacy issue. More leaks like YouTube’s are bound to happen, but if you really wanna comply and verify your age, then use a fake face for the selfie. Be safe.
