Finally got a record shot of a Boreal chickadee (have been hearing them but not seeing enough for photos), lots around here but they do not stay around long like the black-capped do, and they are more timid of people

I love it out here! Did some exploring with a friend yesterday, you can see in the distance the highlands of Cape Breton starting in the Baddeck area.

A few new lifers yesterday, included some Red-throated loons off in the distance, and Black scoters! #birdingcapebreton
