Thanks Bindyp, it was a wonderful weekend, not the actual arcade but where we visited was very similar. I'll be back to normal tomorrow and posting again, have a super Sunday.😀

They're between a rock and a hard place, if they don't make racist statements they can't attract racist supporters. They are mostly egotists too, so can't keep their mouths shut either.

Legalities don't worry Trump, he just says whatever he wants at the time, there is no case, if it was taken to court the evidence supports the BBC. The BBC rep will hopefully improve, the right might have shot themselves in the foot as the right already hate the new Head of News announced today
November 12, 2025 at 2:38 PM
If a court ordered it, I agree we would have to pay up but if the Gov tried to pay him off, as we know Trump won't take this to court for the above reasons, then the public would react so negatively Labour, like with other unpopular decisions, would do a U-turn. But I have been known to be wrong
November 12, 2025 at 2:30 PM
The crux of the case would be that Trump wasn't inciting an illegal act, which he was and even the Telegraph confirmed this shortly after “The putsch has failed….the desecration of Capitol Hill by Trump mobs — on explicit incitement by the president." They were not alone in their condemnation.

I was thinking more of inviting the family around to share it as it looks delicious. #recipetorecommend

I agree, but the BBC Gov Body has been put in place by the Tories and many of us are fighting to remove them. The first 2 have gone due to this, and the replacement today as Head of News is already being attacked by the right, so I'm hopeful. The public own the BBC, as taxpayers we're not paying.
November 12, 2025 at 1:16 PM
The BBC factually reported what he said, although edited the overall content is accurate. The memo attacking the BBC was authored by M Prescott, a lobbyist paid by US tech/media giants tied to Trump, so trying to defend that in court wouldn't help Trump either. We own the BBC and we're not paying.

The BBC belongs to us the British people, and no way are we paying.
November 12, 2025 at 12:48 PM
In the UK Trump can ask for what he likes as tax payers we're not paying, the BBC told the truth. I'd love it to go to court the evidence would do more harm than any doctored BBC report.

Jenkyns doing what she does best, grifters have to grift.

Hopeful first sign as Jonathan Munro is the replacement for Turness, Head of News. The Telegraph and Daily Mail are going for him already "'deluded and loathed' £300k-a-year BBC deputy who is 'staunch defender of doctored Donald Trump footage". If they hate him I take that as good news for us.
