Andrew - Guiding Bullet I don't think it's all worked out just yet, but I imagine he's able to see specific information about things/people and then enchant things with that info. Like implanting weaknesses into a bullet. Or adding effective health benefits to what's otherwise just placebo medicine. Maybe even the opposite could be done, adding healing properties to a bullet. or that could just leave a larger wound 🤷‍♂️ But as a drawback, he can't blink while using any aspect of that ability. It's also very mentally draining. Thought it would be fun to try blending the different things I've written him as before. A mechanic, a navigator, a gunslinger I'm just glad to be drawing again ✨️ This project is nearly done! #magicalboy #mlm #oc #art #characterart

I honestly felt varying levels of uncertainty with this one but putting him next to the others made me feel a little better. The color scheme definitely grew on me ✨️ He originally would've had more vampiric abilities, and I somehow landed on subtle themes of reflected light/shadows at least on paper. Those cards would have functioned as both portals and "dark" mirrors of other characters too, but for now I'll just stick with it as an aesthetic choice. I've got too many notes on him 🤭 On to the next! 3 more to go, and I'm having fun experimenting ✨️

Jeda - Living Soundtrack ✨️🎵✨️ Being able to perform any song or music you've heard before can be handy when stage fright isn't slowing you down 😌 Bard, buffer and debuffer for the group ✨️ Ironically with one of the more antisocial characters of the 8. They'd have a lot to get over before being able to really let loose, but the idea was fun to try! Ward has always been one of my favorite characters to draw and write around 💚 He's normally just a bundle of joy but now I've broken my time that he must be smiling in all artwork off him. I'll fix that later His appearance here is loosely based on the Paladin class from Dungeons and Dragons, although I meant for him to have a sort of apron since he's been made a blacksmith and baker before. He's got a Dwarven father and Elvish mother too so... maybe I just made him a hot mess 🤭 on to the next! #magicalboy #characterart #oc #art #mlm

Ben is done! ✨️🔥✨️
Ben the Protective Flame ✨️🔥✨️ ----------‐--------------- Decided to try one of the characters I've honestly worked with the least and almost either wrote into someone else or dropped from the record entirely. I'm glad I was pushed to keep him 😊 He's one of my oldest OCs if not technically tied for being *the* oldest in terms of when who was drawn/ written first. Unfortunately, though he's written to be a self-appointed guardian he would also cause quite a bit of physical mayhem (and suffer amnesia + trauma). Especially If I combine him fully with the alternate character that's at the end so I'm kinda left not wanting to work on his writing for this universe but also ecstatic about it. He's a softie with anger issues (working on it) so we'll see how Ihandle that. Anyways, I'm happy with how the drawing turned out! Even if the process felt kinda rough it still looks great (for now) especially next to Zander

Decided to post a set that's actually complete! I'm not sure what I would really call them yet, my notes said Team Heart and that's what I'm sticking with for now. None of them except Troy with the pink hair have names yet but Lake (Blue), Forrest (Green), Corona (Dark Red) are in the running ✨️ ...Troy might need a new name _(:3」∠)_ Now that I draw full bodies more I'll have to revisit them someday!
