IMO it’s as woke as a lot of VNs are it has messy gay reps and some good stories about sexual abuse and trauma but it is also in fact the game series about a sex criminal maniac so it’s what you personally will take away with it

It’s def an internal debate with the fans rn and also people who haven’t played the games some fans are really chill but also some want it to be more woke than it probably is and then you have fans of it who complain about woke 24/7 then you have people who don’t play but are disgusted by it
