i havent even been following hytale development in recent years
it spanned over soooo many years i completely forgot abt it by the time it was announced development was ending (which was last june), and since then i forgot abt it again until now

for background, the first pc I ever used did not reliably handle aero on windows 7 for the longest time and was just more stable with the basic display driver than the driver for its gpu

idkk what was in me from 1.5 years ago when i concluded kdenlive wasn't "for me" in one of my old blog posts just bcz i thought the "only available options" for text were either "Subtitles" or "Dynamic Text"
kdenlive is actually a really good linux video editor if you know how to use it
