At the heart of these peonies, I hesitated—teal or yellow? 🌸

Teal felt quiet and deep, yellow felt warm and alive.
As the petals came together, the flowers chose sunlight 💛
In Tsumamizaiku, even color decisions become part of the story ✨

From Dye to blossom 💜

A quiet moment of mixing violet dye, then the softest touch of color breathed onto pinched peony petals. Each stroke deepens the bloom, petal by petal, until the flower feels alive in the hands.

Tsumamizaiku is patience, precision, and heart—where color becomes emotion. 🌸✨🎨

I’ve been using wabasami for tsumami zaiku for about 4–5 years.
After dropping my first pair, I had them repaired and sharpened ✂️
I also welcomed a new pair to the family ♪
Each of the three makes a slightly different sound 🥹

I’ll keep creating while cherishing all three ✨
