Like I know it was on some level emotionally satisfying for the narrative but both in terms of mechanics and in terms of the grief Pappy and Monty had to deal with through the scene, the fact that there *was no goodbye* and she was just gone, it really undermined a lot of things

Honestly this one felt really out of place, she was triple tapped through death saves and her death was already treated as emotional for the several rounds it took to end the battle only for her to miraculously with no intervention come back for a final speech.

Wealwell is one of my favorite NPCs in any campaign ever. He might even outrank several PCs at this point... (not in Cloudward though)
