Berlin before (almost)everyone wakes up 🏙️

When the train company forces you to go to the university as early as possible, this is what you get, an empty cafe area for yourself 😂

Watching a travel vlog from West China and seeing these Camels not reminded me of Sahara Desert but the catchment dataset Caravan 😂

It wasn't as easy as it used to be to travel here thanks to Deutsche Bahn, but at the end of the day everything is either a lesson or an experience. #Weekend

Maybe it's the gloomy sky that motivates me to write.. Next blog post is coming soon 🤓

In fact, the TV show I've been watching lately motivated me to write, even though I've wanted to write about Climate Change and Agriculture for quite some time.

All publishers should consider adding this "Listen" option 💁‍♂️

Writing Retreat weekend came to an end successfully (almost) and gave myself a little treat by wandering around the streets of Berlin and quick look at one of my all time favorite vehicles 🤓

PS: today I also found my favorite Döner Shop in Berlin 🥙 it's called Döner Plus

We're almost at the end of #EGU25, but it's not over yet! If you're curious about how different global hydrological models agree (or disagree) with each other, we have some preliminary results to share from our study.
Make sure to add it to your schedule, it only takes 5 minutes of your time.

At the end of a long day, receiving a book delivery has a more positive effect on life than it sounds. 📖☺️

I'm working on a new blog post and I'm excited about it 🤓 it has been a while since I finished a blog post in one sitting but the story behind this is too exciting to postpone or take a break. It'll go online sometime tomorrow. ⏳
#EnvironmentalModelling #ModelComplexity

I'm not happy with the way the term "Model Complexity" is used in some publications. This afternoon, I spent over 2 hours looking for an explanation in environmental modeling related articles in which that's a keyword. Finally found one just before bed.

This is fun. I planned a field experiment in the Mekong delta to study something (yet to figure out) 😅😂

I like the way my brain handles unmotivated days 😅 suddenly it goes like "Why don't we start learning this ____ software again".

Guess, this time the choice is not bad because I can think of many potential applications of improving my QGIS skills. 😌

As I'm reading about hydrological modelling, today my phone suggested this recent publication. Found this picture with a valuable message in it. While every modeller tries to do better, it is important to remember that we're all working toward the same goal.

Okay, I think I'm not just getting lucky with these purchases. Returning a book to Amazon in bad condition is like trying to return a cake after eating half of it. It just doesn’t happen. 😅 But I'm proud about my discovery though. 😌

Winter is better when there's snow.

Amazon's definition of "acceptable condition" for used books is not the same as Oxford's definition. 😁
