Wow, Amazon Nova doesn't only have great performance, but it is pushing the price down even further for models of such class... 300K context window, huge performance, multimodality - and all at order of magnitude lower cost. Well done Amazon!

Working with clients we already see how Flink became a foundational part of finance data stack. With finance going through LLM revolution right now and the need for realtime data processing growing, it will become even more important in the future.

I just love the momentum in the Apache Flink world right now. And two good friends of mine joining the ecosystem in the span of the last year makes me even more excited about its future development.

Anthropic seems to be `overloaded` all the time in the past few weeks. With Sonnet being the best model out there I can understand why they may see a lot of usage, but still I wish these providers were more reliable. At least AWS Bedrock / GCP Vertex is always good as a fallback.

With so many networks (X, bluesky, threads) it looks like Buffer is still the best tool to post to all of them easily. Or is there anything better out there now?

Have been playing today with Replit Agent - and it is indeed amazing. And it is very different from V0, Cursor, or Windsurf; for me, it fits a completely different use case.
