Fiction/Flash/Poetry/CNF/Essays, Cat lover supreme (my cat, Lucie-Minou, can attest to this!)!
Hello, Bluesky Friends. Another poem to pass the time.

Hello, Bluesky Friends. This is one of the more rueful love poems from my book, which is now out of print (went from 2021-2023, Aug.-Oct., a pretty good run, I guess, though I've yet to collect a plug nickel from it. But I hear I may get a small sum at the end, from Kindle sales and etc., I guess).

Dear Bluesky Friends, I'd like to announce that my great happiness has come about to have been published by @Dreich25197318 (Season 7, Issue 2 (#174)). I have four poems there, thanks to the kindness and good graces of Editor Jack Caradoc (and of course, to the secondary editor, Angel the Cat).

Hello, bsky.app pals! Here's my latest poem of this evening just barely. "Ekphrastic Question." If only the work itself could answer the question!

As in my previous post, "An Apologia for the Unapologetic World," in this poem, "An Epitaph for a Cat-Lover," my adorable 9-year-old cat, Lucie-Minou, figures, too! She is my only companion and my best friend. She's still alive and meowing, catching mice, but I imagine a time here where....

Here's what my poets and I on the Badlands app (I call them "my poets," though Dave Garbutt and Alex Guenther, also both on bluesky, are organizers, too) put up in the face of adversity and strife, as we put up poems there every week for civilization's sake: "An Apologia for the Unapologetic World."

Here's the humors of the heavens revisited, in the Medieval sense of humors! "We are all inanimate to someone" is the title, as I feel sympathy for the clouds being pushed across the sky rudely by husband the storm! And the family dynamic, you wouldn't believe how toxic!

Here's "Appease them while ye may," a humorously-intended poem about the revenge of the gods and a bad day. Loki, Loki, mischief-maker of Asgard, longs to make mischief here on Earth where the penalties aren't so high as they are among the gods!

Hello there! This is one of the first "animal and bird" poems I wrote fairly recently, though not really just about birds. The illustration is mine. "A Small Legal Matter," about another matter to do with birds/small fellow residents of our world, as reimagined in a court of law.

Hi, folks! Here is my first poem posted to Bluesky. I haven't shared it with any other site yet, it was just written today. It's not as good as some of my others, but I was very anxious and sad after I heard this wee one wounded crying out, and I had to write about it. "A Small Life, A Big Matter."
