because in the book, the trial leading to the call for her execution is itself what causes Alice to wake up as she realizes that all the characters around her, the soldiers, the Queen, the knave, and the king, are only a pack of playing cards, and Wonderland itself was only a dream she was having.

All that said... Misono sums up my feelings about so much of Lily's current nonsense, as of chapter 136, very nicely

The pun on Misono's name here is also pretty funny, since the second character in his name, 園, means garden. As an aside, Misono's name is very feminine xD Strike really likes giving their male characters feminine names.
