"Hope you get blacklisted and never get the chance to work" was a real thing publicly said by one of this VA, which mind you, can be interpreted as "I hope you lose your livelihood and struggle"- which these same VAs were fighting against-

The backlash didn't originate from online grifters- but from the very fans of these VAs that saw the very despairing and negative comments publicly said to a new VA who, according to his own words and that of another VA active in the game, did not know there was a problem with the role being taken.

The belief that "You should be angry at the multi-millionaire company" as a reply is based on the mistaken belief that the players don't dislike the company already and assume they're "bootlickers" of said company.

Pretty sure no VA who knew of the strike would give a message about passing the torch, that’s for when the VA is told the old VA had schedule issues.

Ororon's VA said Jacob didn't know John was on strike, which technically is right- as Genshin is not struck project, there's isn't a strike but rather a refusal of work, which is different and would make sense if asked: he WOULD have been told there's no strike, hence why the message he gave.
