Lived in Pakistan in the 80s as a child due to my dad’s job and we travelled around the country quite extensively. It is beautiful. Although we did get stuck in Gilgit for 10 days thanks to floods destroying the roads! Not sure I appreciated the scenery as a 10 year old but it was a great adventure!
