I have worked with gonorrhoea before. It is very hard to handle and considered a fastidious organism. The expertise needed is real and those people indeed cannot be replaced easily.

If you don’t have an incubator, “simply” wait for late spring/summer time. You need a higher temperature in your room. 😉

Ideally at least 28 degrees Celsius (37 is the usual)… and constant if possible. Ok in the dark. Avoid touching the whole area of the plate too, so you can see the difference when it starts growing.
