Brody was on the A24 podcast boasting about his accent in the film and attributing his ear to being around his grandparents as a child - slightly problematic imo

It's your prerogative to skip it, though I think it's still worth a watch. It was impressive - although I'm wary that their use of AI wasn't disclosed. Agree it would and does contaminate the glory of any awards

I think it's worth watching, though it is definitely too long. Brody's performance was great, although disappointed to learn they felt it necessary to augment his accent - which I'm sure was pretty darn close without finessing in post.

We're overdue for a serious conversation about the ethics and boundaries of AI in filmmaking.
