Fridays we do this thing - Ham (our big orange boy cat) freshly prepares artisan hand crafted waffles (frozen) for the kids before school. It’s a whole performance. Today kids have a physical test in gym so they asked for “some fruit or vegetables or something instead of waffles”. WHAT IS HAPPENING.

Man raising baby #caterpillars and butterflies last year really changed me as a person. They’re in diapause in my garage right now and I want to go tuck them in but I think they’ll be ok. Amazing creatures!

SERIOUS QUESTION this little gold bar on this coat. I see this on so many shows/EVERY Hallmark holiday movie. Are they simply for costumes or are they in real life too? Does anyone own a coat with this as I’ve never seen one out in the wild. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY. tia.

Slipping & sliding dog walker here reporting that there are so many still icy surfaces in Chicago. I went to 3 places to get salt and everywhere is sold out. Love supporting #acehardware on NW HWY in Park Ridge though who was just unloading a new supply.
