This is sketching wild mustangs -a beautiful stallion and mare. The’re truly wild &show scars typical of horses that live without humans. Magical beasts. So many layers of value nuances & geometry show their magnificent form and spirit even when still. Impossible to fully capture on so many levels.

building up layers, going back and forth between trying out color and value shifts and finding and losing line in procreate then to the easel- she’s still in acrylic and various pencils but meandering toward moving her into oil maybe right over the top maybe starting again.
