I remember having whooping cough when I was about 7. It was absolutely horrible. The coughing tore up my throat and sounded like whooping cranes. There were 4 of us, 12, 9, 7 and 2. Only time I remember both of my grandmothers being at our house at the same time. And, as an asthmatic, it was hell.
