Yeah, they don’t want anything given to anyone else until they get theirs first. They long for the time when all systems benefited them. They see handouts to them as rightful and necessary and handouts to others as freeloading and wasteful. Want evidence? Look no further than DOGE and DEI firings.

Watching Twister on cable (it’s always on), and Bill Paxton’s fiancée is one of the great tragic characters in cinema. She goes to get divorce papers signed and by the end of the day, she’s nearly died multiple times, her truck is totaled, and everyone is celebrating that her fiancé has left her.

In light of the raw milk craziness, I found the Milk chapter from the 1928 Southern Cooking cookbook quite funny. Practically the entire section is devoted to trying to not die from drinking milk. And basically says if you don’t trust the dairy, pasteurize it OR ELSE!

And as a Dawgs fan, when we lose in Sanford I fully believe the players are entitled to some of the hedges as a souvenir. If we want to stop that, we can win.
