It doesn’t take them long to find the headstone. Likely, the creature had tossed it aside, like it has tossed the dirt, in its haste to uncover the buried box. “I found it,” Onta calls a few moments later. He crouches and swipes across the slab with his hand. “It’s Midoriya Inko.” “NO!” Jiyuu shouts, putting herself between the man and creature. “He’s not doing anything.” “Nomu,” Dynamight growls out, lifting his hand. “Get away, kid, right the fuck now.” “Wait,” Pika cries out, rushing towards her sister to cover the smaller body with her own. “Wait, please, it’s just waiting to die, I promise!” “It…” Dynamight blinks, nonplussed. “What?” “It’s waiting to die,” Onta speaks up, stepping forward to join his sisters. “It won’t eat anything and it doesn’t do anything except to lay there.” “He’s lonely and misses his mom!” Jiyuu declares.
