Oh wow really?! Gibbo is really funny that way, he will tell me what to look out for and then ask me to repeat it back to him so he knows I've heard them all

For sure! I'm so glad gibbo drilled the signs of it into me.
From the time the rash first appeared to when I went to the hospital was only around 12 hours, the doctor was really happy I'd come in so early. It meant I didn't actually feel all that sick yet which has helped so much!

Yes! My GP is going to find out the time gap I need after recovering. it's just really crappy timing that they added it to the PBS and then I get it

I did thankfully! On the tablet version, however if it spreads any further its back to the hospital for IV antivirals

Holy crap that's worse than feeling pain! My current flare is affecting my jaw, I'd hate to think of how much worse it would have been if I still had my remaining teeth.
Are they able to do the IV antibiotics at your dentists? Or is it a hospital trip?

So far it's only causing pain and nausea, no upsets thankfully!
