Haven’t posted my spinning lately. Still on the same rolag, and love how much easier the drafting is going. Unknown fiber as it was gifted to me.

Sigh. I am not prepared for tomorrow. Not in the least.😢

I am so in love with this spindle. It’s stunning and it spins beautifully !! I am finding it’s getting easier to start drafting a bit without parking it. So relaxing. I *should* find something else as a background but I’m too comfortable. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

I can still see the beginning fiber through the latest spun. I’m really enjoying how much I have control over twist. I’m spinning lace weight or thinner pretty consistently. I will say, I think I’ll always be a park and draft girl. But we shall see.

So I can spin fairly well on a wheel. I can drop spindle pretty well. I absolutely suck at supported spindles.
But I am going to continue to try and do 15 mins a day.
The beautiful supported spindle and its bowl is from StraddleCreekSpins. Hand crafted beauty. The balance is ah-mazing.

Trying to participate in Spin15. We shall see. I don’t have an area to keep my wheel at the ready, and sometimes that stops me. But this gorgeous fiber is from Dyelicious at Tempe Yarn and Fiber. So beautiful. 😍
