My real question is who's singing next to Paul? It doesn't look like George, and I know that before they had the full band together, there were some temporary Beatles in the roster.

Maybe it's because of retail stores playing it? I don't know if that's counted or not, but I see no reason for actual people playing Christmas music of their own free will. I'm already getting Christmas ads, too, but at least that's for understandable profit reasons.

You know, thinking about Matt Healy is reminding me that Better than Revenge exists. Between that and the trend of straight women writing songs with some homerotic undertones it seems like Actually Romantic is trying to make Better than Revenge if it were Taste (and massively failing at it).

Well, you can see from my profile picture that I love brat, but I can appreciate that Charli was trying to achieve a level of success that hadn't been accessible to her before.

Honestly, I had this negative reaction but now I'm just confused how I feel. Being the previous swiftie I am, I gave it a couple of chances, and while I can't pretend to not see its flaws, it's a vast improvement over TTPD imo and I can see the good in it, too.

She comes off like the Regina everyone took her for, and I was already done with her music when TTPD came out, but I genuinely hope this album kills her career.

I'm not sure that saying "you must be in love with me" can be considered a diss in 2025, even if it was intended as that. It's more like Taylor Swift shooting herself in the foot.

Personally, I didn't even know about 99 Balloons by Nena until I watched the OHW for that. My mother, who was in her 20s in the 80s, didn't hear that song until she went to Germany, and if I were to ask her about pop music, I doubt she'd recognize it.

They're all guys (or a group of guys in the case of the Beatles). Honestly, there's probably a lot of things (music, good music, playing instruments, etc.) I'm more curious what the point of the question is than I am about the answer.

Well, I think sometimes people feel different inside than they appear on the outside. I could easily see Tar's character WANTING to be a uhaul/ thinking of herself that way but actually not being that way in her actions.

for Katy Perry's is so intentionally offensive and awful in a way that isn't shared by the Kings and Queens video, and Ava Max has the excuse at being new to fame and that her song actually sounds like she's trying to be supportive. On the other hand, that sincerity kinds of makes it more boring too

I mean it didn't have the clusterfuck of problems Katy Perry's had including being a song about "fEmiInISM" with an actual sexual predator producing it, probably because she wanted a hit and thought doing that would somehow make fetch happen, but it's NEVER going to happen. Also the music video_

Since I'm no longer on twitter, I just want to say that as a kid who loved Friday when it came out (I was 11, but I continued liking it into middle school) no amount of the fing magnets line will make me defend that other song even for ironic purposes, but part of me likes the idea they had.

I think if she still replied to your tweets that might actually make her smile, because if she's not making music for streams she gets to make it more for herself in a way.
