3 piles of books that are lined up alongside a sofa - at the time there was about 30 books in the pile 3 piles of books along the same sofa but a mix of the books from the other picture and then a lot of different titles. A new range of books still probably at least 30 books

Realised I haven't been about for a while.

Mainly, I've been reading a lot and recovering from a broken ankle.

Went to A&E with the swolen puffy foot in photo 1 and came out with the space boot for 4/6 weeks.

Boot is off, and im finally functioning mostly, so I will try to get back to socials

It's been a while since we had a garden fox update.

The weather has been cold so we haven't seen any of them in months.

But today, Garden Fox was back and not impressed by the current lack of garden fence, so didn't hang around long

The house of ashes is finished. Was a good book, dark themes (very dark), but an interesting psychological thriller told from several perspectives that built the narrative nicely.

Didn't move on to the burning girls. Instead, started The Rule of Three

Aranchini ready for New Years Eve

So pleased with these. Better taste as good as they look!
18 rice/ breadcrumb balls (aranchini) lined up on a cooling rack. They are golden brown in colour, having just been fried. Each ball is about this size of a golf ball (maybe a little bigger)

Nothing makes me happier to know my garden is such a sanctuary to wildlife that this lil Fox baby happily sleeps in the sun.

Especially after the mass sort out and garden work we did recently

We haven't had a Garden Fox picture in a while, I am aware. The garden got very iver grown and it was hard to see anything in it.

Went to 66 Book Club this weekend, and well, I walked away with some (a lot) of books
