I find that AI is actually helpful for this. Sometimes to develop a good idea you need someone to give you a bad idea so you know what you DON'T want. AI is very good at bad and generic ideas.

I don't know... I sort of like the idea of using AI for story mechanics, but you'd probably need a couple layers of quality control and revision systems and it quickly becomes cumbersome... I wouldn't say it's inherently a bad idea though.

As I've said before, if you make compromises on compromises you have nothing. McBride wants to make compromises while the "hand" is nothing but compromises. There's nothing she can do except make things worse.

Most succesful artists eventually feel cornered by the expectations that they should do more of what people expect of them and what made them succesful. I'd be careful judging people for trying new things.
