Husband is happy

There’s a photo of us somewhere holding hands on the first day of school in the UK, aged 4. Now she lives in Bangkok and I live in Australia. Last week, this happened. Hold on to your childhood friends.

Christmas trees only fulfil their potential when covered with naff family ornaments that evoke happy times past and embarrass teenaged children along the way and I will have no truck with your fancy colour-co-ordinated deccos. This is a hill I will die on.

So the youngest heads off for her last day at school before moving to a new place for years 10,11 and 12. Ending always come suddenly, however long planned.

That’s Christmas sorted then.
