Art direction wise it feels like remaking CE Anniversary I mean. It's making almost all of the same mistakes that made so many of us hate that remaster. The complete disrespect of the originally intended art direction. Modern visuals should not mean ignoring the original art direction 😭

Well they've confirmed Microsoft isn't pressuring them to use AI thankfully, and the only kind that is being used is more akin to like procedural generation. I really think this is just their direction. Feels more like remaking CE Anniversary than... Halo CE. God I hate CE Anniversary...

I felt like bringing this up because it feels like a lot of people assume all physical current gen discs have no data and are only unlock keys. Just because they see the game installing. Installing and downloading are two different things! (cross post moment)

After installation, the main game disc is still required to be in during play. (No CD cracks exist but are unofficial) Only real difference is product keys with the PC games. (Which does activate offline as well). Outside of that, functionality between all of these is identical

The entire point of me opening it the other day wasn't even to repaste it. It was to get a picture of the GPU it has. Revised 90nm Rhea X816970 after Microsoft serviced this console in 2010. Presumably because it red ringed. High TG Underfill, so it's safe!

I actually put it on triangle in KH1. But yeah 2 and 3 it's always on circle. Default on the og PS2 version so I just grew up used to it being on circle
