I think calling it a "three-peat" is cute and all, cuz it rhymes, but sets up a precedent that is so silly in the long run. What happens when it's four in a row? A quad-peat? A four-peat? Even further? A seven-peat? C'mon now.

Literally the only things I want to know about the #superbowl, all of which I can find out afterwards: what jersey Taylor wears, if she sings Bad Blood with Kendrick at halftime, and how the halftime show goes overall. I'll see it in post.

I remember being so excited for the #superbowl as a kid in the 2000s because the #ads were SO funny. I loved watching them and quoting them for weeks afterwards. Now I look back and think how dystopic that is: what good little consumers we all are. A funny ad is still selling you something.

Instead of watching the #superbowl, my extended family and I will be playing board games and eating a homecooked meal. It didn't start off as a #community focus - we just fucking hate the Chiefs - but I think it's time better spent any day. We should do it more.
