It feels performative to mourn, when I'm still so privileged. My voice now is for my friends..especially my LGBTQIA friends, my BIPOC friends, my librarian and teacher friends, my friends who work in healthcare, and my friends who work in various scientific fields. Mostly, it's for my children.

I was never good at tweeting, but I've used FB an insta to document my life for the last 16 ish years, but those spaces are changing. I haven't let myself feel the gravity of the day...of the last few months, of the last 8 years, until now. At least not as fully as I'm feeling it right now.
