I'd never thought about the lighting element of his paintings before. Now you've highlighted this particular aspect of how he painted these landscapes, I cannot unsee it.

I can't help but think, how much more dramatic & beautiful his landscapes could have been with more dynamic lighting & shadow.🖌️
